Acorn Stitch Pattern Video for the Loom

Knit the Acorn Stitch on a Knitting Loom

loom knit acorn stitch

The acorn stitch is the best basket weave stitch I have ever seen. Since last year I have wanted to knit a lovey blanket. After a monthly chat session with my Patreon Patrons I decide the time is now. When I did the research the best looking ones were made using a crochet hook. This stitch pattern looks the closes to that fabric and so here it is for you and I to enjoy. The lovey blanket pattern is in the works and if you follow me on Instagram stories you have already seen. Below is a picture. I’m still debating whether to do a Teddy Bear, a baby or a Sleepy Lamb.

Below is a list of supplies, more information about the stitch and the step by step video.

I tried to download the washcloth pattern when you had it posted for free but it wouldn’t allow me to access it. I have watched the video for the basic stitch pattern, but would like to know how many rows I would need to do for the washcloth. Thanks for any advice.

Hi Vicki – that pattern was available for free for 2 weeks – it is now only available to my Patreon patrons and on Etsy.

This is beautiful! I live it. How many inches wide does it come out of the 24 peg loom?

      Hi – it’s approximately 6 inches wide
