No More Monthly Yarn Give-Aways

Unfortunately due to lack of participation there are No More Monthly Yarn Give-aways here on LoomaHat.com. I will continue to have give-aways but not on a set date and not necessarily for yarn. So stay-tuned for product reviews which will continue to include raffles as long as there are enough participants. God willing we will also have a 2015 Loving with Looms Award starting in October.

Hope you guys understand. It gets VERY expensive to do these contest. The number of entries continued to decrease and I rarely received any response from the winners in reference to the product. Very discouraging. 🙁 . I have found that the basic reviews stay relevant as long as the product is available and that I continue to reference those in my posts.

My expected upcoming product reviews for 2015 will include: Loom Holders, The Adjustable Hat Loom, Swerve Yarn , and the Loom Knit Dishcloths Pattern Book and much more ….

I am WAY behind on my reviews so I hope to really rev-up next year. e-Books are a favorite of mine and I will consider doing a raffle for an e-Book or asking the designers if he or she has gift-certificates for their pattern or pattern store.

Hello I just saw this and always my luck that when i find something great, the best thing about it over.. but I am new to crocheting and knitting, like it both – so learning it together. There will be more raffles – just not on a monthly basis and not always yarn.. Look for the product reviews- they always have a raffle

I’ve been teaching myself to loom knit and watching U Tube videos for help. I stumbled on your site by pure luck…or blessing! Out of all the hundreds of tutorials and websites out there, you are by far the easiest to understand and follow. I learn by watching so pictures in a book only confuse me. Your videos are SO helpful!! Thank you SO much!!
I was sorry to hear about your giveaways ending well, because one, who doesn’t love free stuff, but most of all because of the lack of response! I myself, just a brand new baby-steps beginner can’t imagine a lack of interest! It was my Daughter-In-Law who got me interested and I will be telling her about you and your site and her sister and mom also loom knit.

I hate to see the give aways end, though I was never able to get an entry to go through. I believed it was because I use Linux OS. But, even when I tried using Windows on a laptop, the entry failed.

I don’t use any social media, either, so those things aren’t an option for me.

I’m new to looming. And, Loom A Hat is my “go to” for any help, and for special ideas. There is so much fantastic information and great instructions here, that I can’t imagine your ever having time to run a raffle!

It’s exciting everytime a LAH email arrives and my deepest appreciation goes to you!

I was usually able to enter, but the last one it wouldn’t work unfortunately. I also don’t have Facebook, and just recently signed on for Pinterest, so I couldn’t get as many entry points, but I always had fun trying. Thanks for the past yarn give aways. I know it is an expense and your efforts were not unappreciated. Just sorry it didn’t work out like you had hoped. Always love your blog and will continue to visit and enjoy it, raffles or not. 🙂

I tried to enter more than once but could never figure out how. I even asked a friend to help me who lives on her computer and she could not get it to work either. Not sure if there is a problem because of something with type of tablet I am using or what but I do hate to see it go.

hello! I’m so sorry to hear this being discontinued as I just found out about loom knitting and I have never been subscribed to a blog before. But your videos were the first ones I saw and I loved them. Now I’m a looming addict I want to do it all the time. I’ve even made 2 of your hats!
