Loom Knit Convertible Hat Cowl on a Long or Round Loom

It’s a hat that is also a cowl, you can knit on a long loom or a round loom. You wear it as a messy bun hat or an earwarmer. I think it’s perfect when can’t decide what to knit as a gift. You make one project and the recipient gets four gifts.

I was asked to design this project by one of my patrons for her daughter Tara. Before I was done testing the project Tara passed away. This was a bit difficult to absorb and I lack the words to express my thoughts about this experience. I am grateful that I can share it with Tara’s mom, her daughter and you.

loom knit convertile hat cowl on a rectangular long knitting loom

I have to admit that I totally love knitting hats on this long rectangular loom. I wished I had done it a long time again. Depending on the response I get from you I will decide whether to design more patterns for this loom. Please let me know thoughts in the comments.
