Knit an I-cord on any Loom with at Least 3 Pegs

Loom Knit a Super Easy I-cord

This is a great project for everyone. It has an endless amount of uses from bracelets, to shoelaces, hair bow, coasters and even pillows. I’ve seen some incredible things made from an i-cord.

Below  is the supply and 2 projects you can make with your kids. They will have fun and the end product will be useful.

YARN: Any weight yarn – this will depend on your project. I used worsted weight in the video.

HOOK: Any hook I used the KB Ergonomic hook.

NOTIONS AND TOOLS: Depending on your project. Click the links for specific project list.

Good morning! I love the video with the double moss stitch. I am about to start the project but I have doubts how to do the ends when you turn around. Thank you and I enjoyed every project.

Hi Sandra – the ends or edges depends more on your project and then the stitch pattern

Can this be used for military use what would be the strongest yarn if so how long

Tina – Hi I am not in the military and I don’t have access to any specifications so I can not tell you if you can use this technique for military purposes and the length of the cord is determined by your need.
