The Hourglass Eyelet Stitch is a beautiful lacy stitch. I know that I’ve said this many times but this stitch looks alot more complicated then it really is to knit.  I say that because it’s true. You should never be afraid to try a pattern only because it looks different. It’s nothing like all your other projects. That is a great thing, especially because there is a step by step video tutorial.

By the way, my swatch was knit on a large gauge loom with a single strand of #4 medium worsted weight yarn. You can use a small gauge but I love showing you that you can use a cheap large gauge loom to make something really beautiful.

The Jute stitch looks great and is super easy to knit. Just two stitches over 2 rows. The five minute video takes you step by step on how to knit the stitches. Because I am showing you very thing you need to know to create this stitch, I truly believe even a beginner can handle it.

Unlike other patterns, I tested this one with worsted and chunky yarn. I did that because I was testing stitches for my Hooded Scarf with Pockets Pattern.  I did pick a different stitch only because I thought a knit and purl would be preceived as more user friendly.
