I am very happy so many of you asked me for a Hooded Scarf with Pockets pattern. It’s warm, cozy and has an amazing textured stitch. As always there is a step by step, full length video tutorial to make the project accessible to everyone. There’s also instruction on how to adjust the size.

The Flying Geese stitch pattern creates a lovely design that looks a lot more difficult then it really is. You don’t need to know a lot of loom knitting to learn to knit this pattern. It’s make up of just knits and purls. Like most of my digital patterns, this one includes not just text but also a link for an easy to follow step by step video tutorial. This is easy enough for a true beginner.
The best thing you can do for your soap bar is to put it in a sack. This helps to save your bar so you can get more use from each one. Even better, if you make the cozy using a textured stitch pattern then it works great exfoliating your skin.
Because it’s a small project, you finish knitting quickly and you only need scrap yarn. But the best thing about these little bags they make useful and beautiful gifts, especially if you pair them with some handmade soap. Everyone can benefit from these, young and old, men and women, family or friend.

The Puff Shell Basketweave stitch pattern is a funky and highly textured version of the classic stitch. It is easy to do and the pattern includes a link to a step by step tutorial for the flat version of the stitch.
It is made up of only knits and purls, which makes it very beginner friendly.

The Diagonal Moss Stripe stitch is all about texture, texture, texture ! That is always a winner for me. Especially one that only needs me to use knits and purls. Nothing fancy.
Knits and purls done on a large gauge loom with just one strand of worsted weight yarn. But no worries if you like small gauge looms because any loom you have on hand will work well with this baby.

Here is a list of things I think you should consider before using the S loom. It’s know by many names including a blanket, afghan, Serenity and an 8 Shape loom.
This has many characteristics that are very different from the regular round or long looms so the list might also help you bring together the supplies you will need to knit the project. Also when you know the common mistakes people make with this tool, you’re less likely to make them.

The Seed and Purl Basketweave is a curvy twist on the classical version. One square pulls and the other pushes. A sort of yin and yang. You get lots of texture with simple knits and purls. I think it would make a fabulous scarf.

Wow !!! Here is a pattern you can use in soooOOOOOooo many different ways. Lets start with just a few; as a pot protector, a dish liner, a wash/dish cloth, table setting placemats with matching coasters, aa a granny circle, project embellishments, a doll skirt, and even doilies. And if you don’t connect the circle you can use it like a lace collar. I’m so loving it !
Another great feature of this project, the smaller ones knit up fast because of the lacey sections. More importantly, unlike most of my designs, this one includes four different sizes. So, if you have the large gauge set of looms, the pattern includes one for each loom. That’s four patterns in one.

Something textured, something fun, something you can use to make the perfect mermaid blanket. It’s the Mock Honeycomb with purls stitch pattern also known as the Mermaid Stitch. And yes, there is one without purls that looks different but I wanted the purl version to keep the fabric flat and more textured. Because you can never have too much texture.
One thing for sure, it is not reversible, at all. See the pic below. It barely shows anything but I feel that the front side is so cool that I don’t mind the back side.
